Is your company hiring PhD level talent only to find the process time-consuming and costly, with few perfect matches for the role? Are you a PhD lost in hours of sifting through applications, struggling to find your place in the industry job market? At our upcoming workshop, we’ll be diving in to find solutions to this common matchmaking problem that hiring managers and PhDs have been banging their heads against the wall trying to solve.

We will start the session with a roundtable discussion to better understand the issues on both sides of the table (literally) before breaking out into small group brainstorms to workshop tactical solutions to redesign how we search for and hire PhD talent.

A few of the issues we plan to discuss include:
- What are the biggest pain points employers and candidates face in the hiring process?
- What tactics or avenues have been successful when hiring PhD talent in the past, or when securing previous industry roles?
- What new approaches can we use to streamline the job search process so the right candidates can more easily find the roles they are most qualified for?
